Custom Printed Wedding Balloons
I wanted my wedding to be unique and memorable, and with all of the bubbles and flower petals that completely liter the church yard, I wanted that a canopy of balloons to send my husband and I off. I chose custom printed wedding balloons with our names and wedding date one side with clip art that I used throughout my printed items (programs, napkins, cups, etc.) and on the other side Jake had written a haiku to celebrate our wedding day. 
It was perfect for everyone to read while they were holding their balloons and waiting for us to come out of the house. I chose all of the colors that were represented in the plaid tartan that was used throughout my wedding (bridesmaid dresses, groomsmen vests, programs) and it helped with the theme of the day...lots of color!!
My dad and brothers did all of the grunt work by inflating and tying each balloon, and they got the best helper award for all of their work! We had about 250 balloons, one for each guest, and this project kept them busy the morning of our wedding. They made bouquets of about 25 balloons with curling ribbon and tied each bouquet down with a balloon weight. We kept these in the garage until after the wedding and some quick family photos, and then the bridal party passed out a balloon to each guest while we got ready to come out of the house.
My mom led the way, and as we were coming down the front walk, everyone was cheering for us and releasing the balloons! The sky was just filled with color, and there is nothing that can make your spirits soar more than a sky was filled with custom printed wedding balloons!! It was so fun, and everyone loved watching their balloons all join in a joyous canopy overhead. We have had so many compliments on how fun it was to release the balloons, and the photos from this unique part of our day are some of the best and favorite memories of our family and friends. No one had to pick anything up, and we were not worried about pollution because latex balloons are 100% biodegradable! When people see our photos from our wedding, they always comment on the balloon release, and I get to relive the moment each time.
*There are many other ways that we incorporated custom printed wedding balloons for our wedding event. We used custom printed photo balloons with our engagement photo and attached a balloon to gift bag placed in the hotel rooms for our guests. For guests who were not familiar with the location, we used the 5' gorilla balloons to attract attention to our location and simple balloon clusters attached to PVC pipe were used to designate parking areas in my parents yard.
